It’s like feeling trapped in a loop of emotional pain and confusion.
The pain of feeling your emotions so intensely, as if you’re walking through life with the emotional volume dialed to 100%, can become overwhelming, making it hard to cope alone. Sometimes, there may not be a clear understanding of your purpose in life.
Moody is the best way to describe your behavior, as you vacillate from joy to anger. You might also recognize struggles in your relationships, particularly romantic ones. These relationships feel good at their best, but like a sudden weather change, the bad times bring stress and despair.
Experiences like this and everything else you’ve been through can drain your energy, leaving behind a crushing emptiness. Still, your heart clings to the hope that love, connection, and belonging are possible. It’s time for you to get some answers because you may be experiencing BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder).
What is BDP?
BPD often describes a person who feels emotionally overwhelmed, frequently battling suicidal thoughts and urges to harm themselves, or stuck in cycles of destructive relationships.
It may also describe someone who’s been through significant trauma, or someone who didn’t have many supportive adults or caregivers growing up – the ones who could offer love, care, and compassion during times of stress. Instead, abandonment, rejection, criticism, and even physical or sexual abuse may have shaped their experience.
If this resonates with you, I want to help you find an inner sense of calm and discover a new way of relating to yourself and others. You have the strength to awaken hope and create new possibilities in your life.
